I trained with the Joyce Blok School of Beauty Therapy in Auckland in 1989 qualifiying in Beauty, Body Therapies Massage and Electrolysis. Post graduate courses within the cosmoceutical field have been in Advanced Skin Analysis and Cosmetic Chemistry which assist in the better understanding of Skin conditions and how to utilise the new technology within our skin care products and treatments for best effect. I have worked continually as a Beauty Spa therapist since graduating and developed Tonic Spa in 200. My enthusiasm for the Beauty industry is evidant, infact I am continually excited by the new advancements in treatments and technology. Instead I enjoy teaching and encouraging the Therapists who work with me to continue their post graduate learning, to be the best therapists they can be. I trained at The Beauty Therapy College of NZ in 2006 qualifiying in Beauty, Body Therapies Massage and Electrolysis.
I continued with post graduate training in Slimming massage, Hot stone massage and Intensed Pulsed Light Therapies. I have worked with our great team here at Tonic for just over 9 years and now have a beautiful young daughter. I trained at Elite International School of Beauty Spa Therapies, qualifying in Beauty, Body Therapies, Massage and Electrolysis. I joined the Tonic team in 2015 and am loving the friendly community vibe and beautiful environment we work in. I trained in Beauty, Body Therapies and Electrolysis at the College of Camille, graduating in 2014, where I was awarded Student of the Year.
I trained at Elite International School of Beauty Spa Therapies, qualifying in Beauty, Body Therapies, Massage and Electrolysis qualifying in 2016. After working part time with Tonic during my studies, i now work full time and am excited to learn and grow within the beauty industry. I enjoy eye treatments including brow care and lash lifting and skincare treatments. I continued with post graduate courses for body massage and spa therapies and for a further two years with Shirley Price in clinical aromatherapy and reflexology.
Having recently moved to the area, I am really looking forward to getting involved within the community and building a local client base. We have selected the leading French skin care line Sothys for all of our body treatments and stock a full range of products for your home care use. Sothys is one of the most well established and regarded professional brands available with an enviable reputation for quality that they have held for over sixty years. Sothys is sold exclusivley in spas, and we are proud to be carrying such a highly specalised brand. At Tonic we carry their Emporium range in the flavours snow gardenia, lychee flower and belladonna. COOLA using ingredients that are organic, sustainable and locally sourced, much like the foods we prefer to eat. A professional and purpose built environment incorporates spacious therapy rooms, spa rooms, couples room and a private enclosed deck area for treatments and relaxation outside. We have a loyal and active local clientele but due to extensive 'word of mouth' we also service many customers from the greater Auckland area. The salon has five experienced Spa Therapists and we use the Salon Professional 'Sothys' skincare range of products from France in our treatments
