What you should know about Mary Hancock Celebrant
She has worked as a Celebrant since 1998 and has been a key lecturer at The Celebrant School for some years. It includes an in depth introduction to the role and skills of the Celebrant and Ritual Maker, and the feasible process for design and development of ceremonies. These are Ceremony and Celebration Compulsory and prerequisite Marriage and Courteous Unions Funerals Transition Through Change and Crisis Professional Practice Compulsory. Students who do not pass a module and are needed to repeat will need to re enroll in the module and pay the stuffed module fee. The Certificate in Celebrant Studies is a part-time, experiential training programmed designed to ensure celebrants have the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to deliver appropriate and meaningful contemporary ceremonies that meet the needs of the diverse communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We understand that life happens and sometimes students need to cease from a course for which they have enrolled. Mary has contributed many years of excellent labor in the development and teaching of the certificate. Attending the celebrant school for my training, has given me the confidence and the know how to successfully become a wedding and funeral celebrant. The ACT University has worked for many years with Mary with the ACT’s Certificate in Celebrant Studies.
The Certificate programmed also supports the Code of Ethics and the Professional Standards of the Celebrants’ Association of New Zealand Inc can aw. It provided a conceivable structure, and understanding of the importance and deposit of ceremony throughout the ages. Those who wish to use their celebrant skills to serve their family and community for life transitions and celebrations. This note is to support Mary Hancock who is establishing a qualification in Celebrant Studies at the Celebrant School. We wish Mary and the Celebrant School well with the coming of the Celebrant Studies Certificate.
