What you should know about Bruce McLaren Intermediate School
The National Standards have been set in Reading, Written Language, and Mathematics for each one of the years' Year 1 through to Year 8 your kid spends at primary and intermediate school. Bruce McLaren Intermediate participates in a wide range of sporting activities. We will be making it very definite to you as to the progress your child is making against the National Standards. He She has an excellent knowledge of the progress being made and where extra help is required.
This testing is more than a check on the ongoing assessment made by your child’s teacher. As with every primary and intermediate school in Fresh Zealand, our school will be reporting to you, the parents and caregivers of students, twice a year on the progress your child is making in relation to the National Standards. All Board of Trustee meetings are public meetings members of our school’s community are maximum welcome to attend. The classroom and surplus curricular programmed yield a variety of opportunities for students of all abilities to develop their interests in music.
This programmed is for students who have some reading skills, but who need surplus individual help especially in the area of accepting what they read. Bruce McLaren Intermediate School is a Cecile 3 multicultural school catering for Year 7 and Year 8 students. This programmed needs parent volunteers to enable us to face the needs of the students. What we have been doing At Bruce McLaren Intermediate, we have been assessing the progress made by our students against the expected Year 7 and Year 8 Achievement Levels in Reading, Written Language, and Number for the past few years.
I look forward to continuing to serve this school community where and whenever there is a need. This means, that in effect we have been using the National Standards for some time and reporting to you in our main reports on the progress being made by your kid in relation to the expected Achievement Level. The picture lower displays another example of work completed by a Year 8 pupils. If your child is active at the National Standards it means that your kid is on track to attain NCAA Glossy 2 at inferior school.
There is an expectation that students can already read music and are prepared to develop their improvisation skills. During the two years at Bruce McLaren Intermediate School each student will be offered the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor education experiences. One where students, teachers and families feel safe, respected and supported at all times. My goal for Bruce McLaren Intermediate School is to improve every student’s academic achievement in a sure and caring environment’.
