What you should know about Adventure Specialties Trust
We are New Zealand’s leading Christian outdoor recreation and adventure camping organization. The following statement was developed with other Christian adventure organisations at a gathering at Raurimu, June 2011. We believe in God who is the creator, sustainer and restorer of his Creation, which he pronounced good. We seek to conduct our activities in ways that also protect, care for and restore Creation now and for generations to come.
Adventure Specialties Trust, Capernwray New Zealand, The Salvation Army Blue Mountain Adventure Centre, Scripture Union New Zealand, Alpha Outdoors, Messiah College. We are New Zealand’s leading Christian outdoor recreation and adventure camping organization. To assist its most needy clients the Trust relies on charitable donations to help underwrite costs. Donations can be made to Adventure Specialties Trust by cash, cheque or automatic payment.
We are New Zealand’s leading Christian outdoor recreation and adventure camping organization. Adventure Specialties Trust is a registered Charitable Trust legally incorporated in November 1985. It has Inland Revenue Department Tax Exemption status and approval to receipt charitable donations that are tax deductable for the donor. Adventure Specialties Trust is registered with the New Zealand Charities Commission, registration number CC20087.
Adventure Specialties Trust is Outdoors Mark safety audit accredited, and operated under a comprehensive set of polices and procedures. We can provide risk analysis and management information RAMS to meet school board requirements. Adventure Specialties Trust is an approved Level 3 provider of social and welfare services to the New Zealand Government Ministry of Social Development, Child, Youth and Family Services. We are New Zealand’s leading Christian outdoor recreation and adventure camping organization.
With over 30 years experience providing adventure and wilderness experiences on New Zealand rocks, rivers, mountains, caves and coast you are in good hands. Schools, youth development agencies, employment enhancement programmes, drug and alcohol rehabilitation agencies, churches, social service agencies and companies all use the services of Adventure Specialties Trust. We are not confined to an outdoor centre but use multiple locations throughout the North and South Island of New Zealand. We are proud of our track record and operate under a comprehensive set of operational and compliance guidelines.
